How Much Are Lorcana Enchanted Cards Worth?

Disney Lorcana launched in August 2023 and immediately became the fastest-growing trading card game since Pokemon, driven by Disney IP and a deliberately scarce top rarity called Enchanted. Enchanted cards are full-art alternate versions of existing cards, pulled at roughly one per every ninety to one hundred and twenty packs, which makes them the entire secondary market for the game. The first set, The First Chapter, was under-printed relative to demand and its Enchanted cards reached prices that later sets have not matched, because Ravensburger increased print runs substantially from Rise of the Floodborn onward. That print run difference is the most important thing to understand: an Enchanted from set one and an Enchanted from set five are not comparable, even for a similarly popular character. Character popularity does real work here in a way it does not in other card games, since Disney collectors buy Mickey and Elsa regardless of playability.

Set and print run are the first thing to check, because The First Chapter first printing was dramatically smaller than everything that followed and carries a permanent premium. Character recognition is unusually powerful in Lorcana: Mickey, Elsa, and Stitch outsell mechanically superior cards featuring lesser known characters by wide margins. Grade matters and the premium is meaningful, though not as extreme as in Pokemon, with PSA 10 typically running three to four times a raw near mint copy. Playability provides a floor for competitive staples but rarely drives the top of the market. Condition problems specific to Lorcana include edge whitening on the dark borders and surface curling on foils straight from the pack, both of which cap grades. Sealed product from set one holds value while later sets have been reprinted enough that boxes trade near retail.
